The shuttle Atlantis backed out of its hangar and rolled to the Vehicle Assembly Building Tuesday, moving a step closer to the final space shuttle mission. Scheduled to blast off in July, Atlantis will stock the International Space Station with supplies and spare parts for post-shuttle life.

The Tuesday morning rollover included a stop between the hangar and VAB for employees to visit Atlantis and take photos. The four astronauts who will ride Atlantis into space were also on hand to greet workers and the media.
