Atlantis hoisted to meet tank and boosters for final space shuttle launch

Heavy-duty cranes inside the Vehicle Assembly Building lifted the shuttle Atlantis from the floor to the ceiling Wednesday night, then lowered the 100-ton spaceship in place next to a waiting external tank and solid rocket boosters.

Atlantis is being prepared for the final space shuttle mission this summer.
