PHOTOS: Shuttle piggybacks over Texas Capitol

Beginning the second leg of its journey across the United States, the shuttle Endeavour took off from Houston at sunrise Thursday and made a low flyby over downtown Austin around 7:40 a.m. Central time.

Crowds gathered outside state office buildings and the University of Texas campus to see the shuttle fly overhead.
