Space shuttle Discovery's first landing opportunity begins with a deorbit burn at 10:52 a.m. EST. The orbiter will fly across Central America and the Gulf of Mexico before making landfall on the Florida peninsula. Touchdown at the Kennedy Space Center is scheduled for 11:57 a.m. EST.
