Space shuttle museums announced

NASA Administrator and former astronaut Charles Bolden unveiled which museums will house the retired space shuttle vehicles during a ceremony today at 1 p.m. EDT (1700 GMT) on the 30th anniversary of the program's first launching.

The future homes are: Discovery to the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum, Atlantis to the Kennedy Space Center, Endeavour to California Science Center in Los Angeles and Enterprise to the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum in New York City.
