On the eve of blastoff

After several days of precautionary analysis and reviews, the Delta 4 rocket has been cleared for blastoff Tuesday afternoon at 4:12 p.m. local time (7:12 p.m. EDT; 2312 GMT) from Vandenberg Air Force Base, California.
