Issued: Thursday, March 27
Launch Weather Officer: Joel Tumbiolo, 45th Weather Squadron
Synoptic Discussion: "An upper level disturbance, along with a weak cold front will move across northern Florida today, resulting in a chance for strong afternoon showers and thunderstorms. A second, more potent cold front will approach the area on late Sunday/early Monday, again resulting in afternoon showers and thunderstorms, which will linger into early hours of Monday. This front will move through by late Sunday/early Monday. High pressure will then build in and dominate the area on launch day, with windy and colder conditions.
"Only concern during the launch window will be ground level winds during the last four minutes of the countdown."
