Virtual Reality: Atlantis rollout

SPACEFLIGHT NOW

As space shuttle Atlantis rolled atop Kennedy Space Center's launch pad 39A , Spaceflight Now was there to capture this 360-degree panorama. Atlantis was moved 3.5-miles from the assembly building to the pad by a crawler transporter with a top speed of one-mile per hour. The shuttle, mobile launch platform and transporter together weigh about 11 million pounds!
