Atlantis moves to launch pad 39A

After spending the past week inside the Vehicle Assembly Building being attached to its fuel tank, twin rocket boosters and mobile launching platform, space shuttle Atlantis journeyed to Kennedy Space Center's pad 39A on October 14.

Atlantis is set for launch in November to carry spare parts to the International Space Station.
