Discovery's landing viewed from lofty perch

This sequence of photos was taken by Spaceflight Now photographer Chris Miller stationed atop Kennedy Space Center's 525-foot-tall Vehicle Assembly Building. Space shuttle Discovery glides to touchdown at 1:01 p.m. on the spaceport's Runway 33.
