The Saturn-orbiting Cassini spacecraft has captured the best picture yet of the tiny moon it discovered in 2005, scientists said Wednesday.

The image of Daphnis was taken Monday and transmitted to Earth on Tuesday. It shows the moon flying inside the Keeler Gap of the giant planet's ring system.

Scalloped edges along the ring gap are indicative of Daphnis' presence. The miniature moon is just 4.3 miles across.

Saturn has more than 60 known moons and 53 have been officially named.
