Photo gallery: Gantry rolled back for Phoenix launch

At 10:20 p.m. EDT on Friday, August 3, the mobile service tower at Cape Canaveral's pad 17A was retracted for launch. The tower rollback revealed the Delta 2 rocket in the final hours of the countdown to launch NASA's Phoenix lander bound for the northern plains of Mars.
