A video camera mounted on a support strut of the Boeing Delta 2 rocket's second stage and pointed up shows the 9.5-foot diameter payload fairing, or nose cone, separating from the vehicle to reveal Mars Odyssey. Source video: NASA TV (68k, 09sec QuickTime file).
