PHOTOS: Falcon 9 completes rollout demo

SpaceX rolled the next Falcon 9 rocket to the launch pad at Cape Canaveral on Oct. 2, completing a final demonstration of launch day operations ahead of liftoff on a mission to the International Space Station.

On launch day, workers will load final pieces of cargo inside the Dragon spacecraft between 12 and 14 hours before liftoff. Rollout is scheduled for around mid-morning Oct. 7.

Liftoff is scheduled for Oct. 7 at 8:35 p.m. EDT.
