Synoptic Discussion: "Two areas of concern in the tropics will be monitored over the next several days. Disturbances northeast of Puerto Rico and east of the southern Leeward Islands are expected to develop into a tropical cyclones. The first disturbance will move westerly over southern Florida on a Sunday-Monday timeframe. Breezy onshore flow and showers will result. The second disturbance will move westnorthwest through the Islands over the next few days.

"Combination of surface high pressure to the north and the previously mentioned tropical disturbances to the south will result in a continuation of onshore flow and a chance for showers through launch day.

"Launch window concerns will be westward moving cumulus clouds and showers over the near coastal waters."

Clouds: Scattered at 3,000 feet and tops at 15,000 feet; Scattered at 25,000 feet and tops at 27,000 feet

Visibility: 7 miles

Launch Pad Winds: Northeasterly from 060 degrees at 10 gusting to 15 knots

Temperature: 82 to 84 degrees F

Relative Humidity: 70-75 percent
