Synoptic Discussion: "Surface high pressure ridge axis will to remain north of the area through the weekend. This will result in deep easterly flow. Any and all thunderstorm activity will develop, and move west of the area, and be concentrated over interior and western Florida during the late afternoon and evening. Tropical squalls which impacted the area yesterday are not expected today. More widely scattered showers are expected.

"Main concerns on launch day will be ground winds and the proximity of any offshore showers."

Clouds: Scattered at 3,000 feet with 2/8ths sky coverage and tops at 7,000 feet; Scattered at 10,000 feet with 2/8ths sky coverage and tops at 14,000 feet; Scattered at 25,000 feet with 2/8ths sky coverage and tops at 26,000 feet
