Atlas soars into space for U.S. military

An Atlas 5 rocket lifted off from Cape Canaveral at 7:07 a.m. EDT (1107 GMT) Saturday with the first Advanced Extremely High Frequency communications satellite for the U.S. Air Force. These photos were captured by remote cameras at the launch pad.
